Major Server Update

Major Update has begun. Since most of you don't want to lose your characters, I will only wipe certain sections. I'll do the update in phases.

To Do List:

• Less Lag
  
• More organised commands (Redundant ones removed, see below for a suggested commands list)

• Achievement System for NX
  
• Max Stat Item System
  
• Event Warper NPCs
  
• Donator Status

• Guild Hangouts xD (Hopefully)
  
• Meso -> Item (e.g Leaf) System

And many more after I've thought of them.

Make windows 7 working?!?! huh? If you're asking about making maplestory work for windows 7, it does work. I'm using windows 7 ultimate atm.

I say yes, we all know we had spent lots of time on our valuable characters, but how long is that supposed to last? It would be great if we all had a wipe and more people could race to the top!

We dicided to add more some custom updates and system, there will be an intern system (maybe we shell make it VIP SYSTEM), vote point system and more to come . So please vote and tell us if you want us to updates or no. It's really important to know cause the server will be viped, Notice! (We have to discuss if we gonna do an exp event for like 1 week it will be 1000 or alittle more.)

I can understand the updates, but why would there be a account wipe?
I did it on my own server to and I just made a backup of the accounts and characters and everything was fine.

We're implementing whole new systems into this server. Including making some items impossible to get (The max stat items) and editing their stats via Wz Editing. If there wasn't a wipe, some players would already have those items in their inventories.

Then there's the Achievement system. Implementing an achievement system after most of the players have over 20 rebirths isn't exactly the most ideal method.

Also, because of a voting system that we are going to implement in the near future, I've made it so that NX can only be received via Achievements, Events or Voting. This makes it so that players can actually have a goal and aim for something.

Including making some items impossible to get (The max stat items) and editing their stats via Wz Editing.

You can add a NPC Function to edit the item stats of a item, so you don't have to do it via XML Editing. So you don't need to remove the accounts.

I could also make a vote system, so you can earn points and exchange the points for 6 Chickens(Currency) and 1 point for idk 10k nx?

For the achievements you dont need a wipe.

Ok, first as Foxy said, we must have a wipe because of the reasons he said.. There will be added more things... And the more 1 reason that we will change the repac... The new repack includes the things that Foxy said there will be added player NPC's and more to come.. So please vote and tell us what do you think!

I want to help, but I need to play 2 weeks.. lol..

on second hand, that is my character and now you're going to take

Do the back up thing if you're gonna wipe the whole server b/c i dont want to add all my friends back on and they might even change their names...

I say it 1 time more, we don't need a server wipe.

The problem is that you can't back-up it... It's data base... And if we put the data base here that it's almost impossible, so the NPCs won't work+ As Foxy said the items will be saved and we want to edit the xmls... So the people shell have the items+ The rbs system... So this is the reason we need a wipe.
